Techenter began development around 2000, It was a project
I built to show off my new Half-Life scripting ability. See the elevator. It was
Built in-between Freefall4, and
Freefall5. It was just a big
Side project, since I was getting board of the freefall concept. |

The Idea behind Techenter was an interesting one. For Some reason I
like to build underground levels, they always seem to look better for some
reason. So I built these two bases that are completely underground that
interconnect. You will notice that the primary spawn room for the Red team
is just above the Blue teams flag room, and vise versa. You can see your
objective when you spawn. Combined with a second way into the base, it made
for a fun Capture the flag map. I'm Just really lucky that it fit together
right the first time I tried to Mirror it. Go Clip out side of the map and
see how many times the base inter connects. It worked just perfectly, I'm
proud of this map to no end. |
